Becky & Ben
The boys were able to spend a little extra time with Ben’s parents this summer. Ian and David went home with them after the baptism and stayed with them until we made it down there at the end of the week. They had a blast driving Grandma’s golf cart, visiting the air and space museum, playing with cousins, splashing at the splash park, fishing for catfish, etc. They loved it!!
We are so excited for this wonderful boy and his decision to be baptized back in July. We love our sweet Ian!
We loved having grandparents and a couple cousins come visit for Ian’s baptism in July. The kids colored the driveway with chalk (and themselves!!), played at the park, visited Ben’s new office and went to our church breakfast.
I’m not sure her grin can get any bigger. This little girl LOVES when her brothers play with her and pull her around in the basket.
Our washing machine quit working, I think it was a result of all the sand from our vacation. I decided to be adventurous and repair it myself. Totally worth the money savings plus the added knowledge of how to replace a drain pump.
Ian turned 8 in July which meant a friend party. We love summer birthdays because that means water parties for birthdays.
In June we took a family vacation to Olympic National Park. We camped in our “monster tent” in a beautiful campground right next to a slow moving, calm river. It was beautiful! We visited Hurricane Ridge, hiked around the Hoh Rainforest, explored the tide pools at the beach, played in the sand and ocean, fished along the river, explored our camp site, got extra dirty, and loved every minute of it. The park was beautiful and it was especially wonderful to get away from regular life for a few days.
